Research interest

After being awarded a fellowship by the Cambridge Trust via the Masonic Charitable Foundation Cambridge Scholarship Anna will join Balmus Lab in October 2019.

Anna is interested in understanding the links between genomic instability and senescence associated secretory phenotype (SASP) in the mature brain and its implication for Alzheimer’s Disease.

Anna is also interested on discovering novel therapeutic targets for the deleterious effect of PARK7 mutations in Parkinson Disease.
