Andrea del Valle Carranza Figueroa
I am a Visiting Scientist in the Balmus Laboratory and a Postdoctoral Researcher (Recognised Researcher, R2A) in the Group of Molecular, Cellular and Genomic Biomedicine at the La Fe Health Research Institute (IIS La Fe), Valencia, Spain.
My work focuses on the study of rare neurodegenerative diseases caused by protein aggregation. We are dedicated to the development of new therapies, drug repurposing, the identification of lipid biomarkers and modifier genes.
